Voltaiq CEO: EV Battery Costs Will Drop to $50-60/kWh
The cost of EV batteries is currently on a nosedive and there’s no sign of stopping within the next decade. Appearing on Autoline This Week, Voltaiq’s chief executive, Tal Sholklapper, told host John McElroy that EV batteries prices are on track to go as low as $50-$60/kWh. At present, EV batteries are priced under $100/kWh but as supply chains catch up with economies of scale, Tal believes “it’s going to continue to go down over the next few years.” Watch the full video below.
