John comes to us from Ansys Inc, where he was Director of Acquisitions & GTM Partnerships. In this role, he managed global sales operations and Integration for 13 acquisitions totaling more than $2B.
With over 25 years’ experience in the engineering software business, John also led the North and South American Sales team at Granta Design Ltd. – a Cambridge UK software company which developed an enterprise solution for materials data management. He was Sr. Business Line Executive of Digital Simulation Products at Autodesk and held management positions at both Moldflow Corporation, and Swanson Analysis Systems, where he was responsible for developing enterprise accounts, managing worldwide channel partners, and developing complementary software partner programs.
Mr. Twerdok began his career as an engineering analyst at United Technologies in Hartford, CT – performing vibration and heat transfer simulations on military avionics. John holds a B.S and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Union College in Schenectady, NY. He is a founding member of the Technology Network Alliance which is a global consortium of computer-aided engineering experts.
